Uninspired
I've not been in the mood to post recently because of my RSI in my shoulder which is really playing up. After a full weekend of crafting last week it really hurt. Add to that my daily grind on the computer and I'm seriously worried that the aching won't go away and I'll have to cut down on knitting/ crochet/ spinning (haven't done any since January!).
I spend £37.00 per month on a Remedial Massage to try to help and it does but my therapist thinks its getting worse and said I should swap knitting for cross stitch! No offence to anyone who likes to cross stitch but it just doesn't float my boat.............what to do? I've tried specific exercises but I'm useless at doing them every day so I've signed up for a yoga class as my therapist said I was much better when I did a yoga class. Here's hoping things can get better.
In the meantime I'm totally uninspired :( Hopefully I'll get my Mojo back before Woolfest!

That's a bummer! I hope you're feeling better soon. Will it help if you switch knitting styles - from English to Continental or vice versa?

OH NO !! poor you. I am do feel sorry for you and I totaly understand as to how frustrating it is
Do hope the yoga will help. My wrist is still bothering me but I have been doing some knitting even though I know I should rest it. I agree that working on the computer doesn't help much either :( I do hope the yoga will help.
We left Vyrnwy as beautiful as we found it :) We are going back next weekend and the lady who's site we stayed on wants me to teach her to spin as she has goats and sheep !

You have my best wishes for a recovery. RSI was the bane of my life for two years and even now I have to be careful and monitor my activities. I'd say keep up with the massage and yoga and pace yourself - things will get better, although it can take some time.

Aw Ali - I was just catching up with all your news and it sounds like you're having a tough time with the shoulder and parting with the boat ! I hope things improve soon and that your Scottish house is all that you would wish it to be :0)

Sorry to hear about your RSI, I too don't think cross stitch would be much of a substitute for knitting and I've been there and done it. Hope the yoga does the trick.
