Woolfest here we come!

Off in about 2 hours to Woolfest!! Busy counting the pennies in my sheep piggy bank........why is there never enough?

Dsc02004 This is a picture of two runaway sheep on Skye who could hardly move with their overgrown coats (which were rock hard). I felt really sorry for them. It can't do them any good to be left this way!

Back soon with lots of goddies!!

Poor sheep, hopefully they'll have been shawn (sp?) by now and it'll be for sale at woolfest.

Have a fantastic time. Wish I could go, maybe next year.

Ouch! A bit overgrown, tsk-tsk to the owners. I'd run away too! :)

Have a blast at Woolfest...I'm sure there will lots of sheep shorn while you are there!

Have a great time!

I didn't realise you were there too Ali ! We probably passed each other without realising ...... shame :0( But I did get some lovely stuff, how about you ???

Your photos of Skye are fabulous and although I have never been to Harris and Uist(next year we hope to ,never enough time !!) I know how white the beaches are further up the west coast and how clear the sea can be.Its strange to see the black sand on Skye ,such great geological differences in Scotland.
Oh and I did take the Avon spray with me and yes it does work :)
I think there should be a bloggers corner at these do's as I would have loved to meet up with you, did you get any goodies ?.
Re your post on my blog there was a lady camping next to us who spins and knits for Tao too but I was too polite to ask how much he paid her, although he did ask if I was interested as I was wearing a handspun garment but I declined. I don't want to turn my hobby into a chore . He has an unusual slant on Fair Trade, should I say !!
You also posted re my CAT outing that you worked on that building there, can you tell me what its going to be? we never got around to finding out ?

Heehee....seeing those sheep with their coats gave me a good chuckle! How lovely they look though against the green grass and the blue water. A very pretty picture!
