It's been a while............
I won't moan about how little time I've had recently and what little crafts I've been doing. Instead, as challenged by Anne, here is what I bought recently on Skye (I should rename this blog float'n'shop!).
A jumper kit from here which I started on holiday but hasn't made much progress. My fair isle technique on the purl side needs some work!
The picture is of a finished sample in the shop and its really handy to be able to try it on before knitting one. Its also a good job I took this photograph as the pattern isn't always that clearly written.

Great Skye stash! Some friends of ours are staying with us to break the journey to and from Skye and have to pick me up some goodies... :-)

OH, yummy stuff from Shilasdair-just what I like to see. Float'n'shop has a certain ring to it!

LOL I knew it would be from there that you bought yarn:) Great pattern and colours and I agree its the one complaint I have that the photo on the patterns are not very clear. Mine is only a simple pattern but even so it has a few errors in it. Hasn't put me off her kits though and I will be be ordering more when Eva gets back from Greece as I need to chat to her

Gorgeous colours, the pattern looks very complex.
Thanks for the congratulations. The name is Cornish, not Yorkshire, but a Yorkshire sounding name is good as she's 3/4 Yorkshire blood.

What a great time you seem to have had these last couple of months. Skye looked idylic and you seem to have had fun at WoolFest but who couldn't have fun there!! Love the kit you got from Shilasdair as well.

What a wonderful pattern - I can't even imagine how you begin to work the diagonal into the fairisle.
