Friendship Day

Today was spent with old friends (left to right - Antonia, Me, Gail, Morag and Marek).

I'm visiting home and catching up with friends and family for the weekend. This afternoon was spent with Gail, Alexis, Morag and their kids with lots of lovely food and a chocolate birthday cake for Morag (have a lovely day on Monday).

We've known each other since our Girl Guide days but this spring was the first time we've been together for over five years so it's good to meet up again so soon (Antonia, Alexis, Gail, James, Morag, Marek and Emma). Thanks for a lovely afternoon ladies!

Alison this is fab I am so impressed and so much older than you clearly with my lack of technological advances.
I think you might need to teach this old dog some tricks.
I came home and had a sleep what an afternoon and it was great with kids at my feet again. Not sure I cuold go back to it mind you it exhausted me. You are so good at organising these things and it really perked me up.

The fact that you used to kid me on about knitting and you now have a blog on it.

Rowan is my favourite too and you can steal my books if you ever fancy a pattern in them
